The 179th is a unique costume club entirely dedicated to the medical personnel of the Star Wars universe. We participate in both large and small cosplay events and are always open to new members. Membership requirements can be found here on the page.

Our focus is on authentically representing Star Wars medical personnel. Inspired by the fantastic illustrations of Edouard Groult, we showcase not only classic medics but also our own unique adaptations of these characters.

We’re medics not only in cosplay but also in our care for fellow cosplayers. Most of our members are first responders, ready to keep a cool head and provide quick and effective assistance in case of emergencies.
